Delilah: Cursed Crimson

A blend of beauty and arrogance,
Reeking of affluent ego, perpetuated by
The presence of vast wealth in her coffers.

An heir, a temptress emanating
Unendurable flames of seduction,
Enticing hapless beings to her merciless heart.

Luring and tempting, stricken souls
To embrace her slavery;
An aura of inescapable beauty,
Arresting the beholders in entirety.

Many have beseeched and entreated,
An audience that was never granted;
Others have bosomed bottles.

Myriads have sung her beauty,
Marvelled upon the Creator's biased blessing;

An embodiment of snobbery,
A personification of lordliness.

But beneath the air of exquisite fascinations,
Underneath the iron facade lurks, a damsel,
Whose soul once, sought only love.

Until love, brief and passionate,
Once paid her, a visit;
Only to leave her desolate.

Ravaged by the red of the rose,
The tenderness nipped off the rosebud,
Leaving behind the semblance of a rotting pink.
